Trained staff help callers explore available options and provide guidance and resource referrals to address behavior concerns and answer COVID-19 questions. Hours
BCCAL calls for COVID-19 concerns are answered between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday - Friday. An online form is available 24/7 for community members to submit questions and concerns related to COVID-19. The online form submissions are addressed during the next business day.


The Office of the Dean Students COVID-19 team provides after hours support for urgent matters in voicemail outside of business hours (after 6 p.m. Monday – Friday and over the weekend).


Behavior Concerns
The existing structure for behavior concerns remains the same and will continue to operate 24/7 with after-hours support from the Office of the Dean of Students on-call team. Community members should continue to call 512-232-5050 to explore resources and strategies to address behavior concerns. Behavior concerns can also still be reported online.


Privacy and Confidentiality
Information shared with BCCAL will be kept private under Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) unless there is concern for an individual or the community’s safety. Medical information shared with the University Health Services and/or the Occupational Health Program will be kept confidential in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
